Dr. Kholoud Khateeb: Effat University, Saudi Arabia

Dr. Kholoud Khateeb is an assistant professor in the Information Systems Department of Effat University in located in Jeddah- Saudi Arabia.

Khateeb is specialized in telemedicine in which creative technological solutions provide a new spectrum of care independent of the geographical location of the care receiver. Kholoud Khateeb was appointed as postdoctoral research and development associate specialist at Nestle Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS) in Switzerland.

After getting her Ph.D., Khateeb moved from Boston, MA to Saudi Arabia with an ambition to leverage her telemedicine experience to actionable projects. In Boston, Khateeb interned at the Partners HealthCare Connected Health Center and Massachusetts General Hospital (a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital). Khateeb was a telecommunication project manger in the National Commercial Bank in Saudi Arabia.  Prior to this she was a computer science lecturer in Effat University and CISCO Systems regional academy instructor.

 Khateeb has an interdisciplinary background. She holds a PhD degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University, graduate certificate in advanced study in Management, Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Loyola Marymount University, and Bachelors degree in Computer Science from King Abdulaziz University.

 Dr. Khateeb is a member in Saudi Council of Engineers, Golden Key International Honor scarcity.
